Dalam efek ini, sekumpulan teks bersama-sama membentuk teks baru. Pembuatannya sangat mudah, hanya bermain-main dengan setting brush.
[In this effect, a bunch of text together create a new larger text. Easy, just need to play with the brush setting.]
1. Buat file baru. Buat tulisan menggunakan tool teks.
[Create new file. Write new text with text tool.]
2. Ruang kosong bisa dihilangkan secara otomatis dengan perintah Trim. Klik Image|Trim lalu klik OK.
[Remove the empty space using Trim command. Click Image|Trim and click OK.]
3. Hasilnya, ukuran kanvas akan tepat seukuran dengan teks.
[The canvas will be just the right size of that text.]
4. Berikutnya mendefinisikan teks sebagai brush. Klik Edit|Define Brush Preset. Isikan namanya lalu klik OK.
[Click Edit|Define Brush Preset. Fill its name and click OK.]
5. Buka file gambar di Photoshop.
[Open pic in Photoshop.]
6. Aktifkan tool horizontal type mask. Tool ini berfungsi membuat seleksi berbentuk teks.
[Activate tool horizontal type mask. It will create new selection shaped like text.]
7. Buat teks berukuran cukup besar. Gunakan tipe font yang tebal.
[Create a big bold text.]
8. Aktifkan tool brush. Buka palet brushes dengan menekan F5. Di bagian Brush Tip Shape pilih bentuk brush yang kita definisikan tadi. Perbesar nilai spacing hingga bentuk teks di tampilan preview brush terlihat dengan jelas.
[Activate brush tool. Open brushes pallete by pressing F5. In brush tip shape section pick the brush we just created. Increase spacing until the text seen clearly.]
9. Buat layer baru lalu buat goresan-goresan pendek. Teks lebih kecil akan otomatis berada di dalam bingkai seleksi. Coba tekan ctrl+H untuk menyembunyikan bentuk seleksi. Terus goreskan brush hingga diperoleh tampilan teks yang menarik.

10. Hasil akhirnya seperti ini.
